Provinciale Landschappen

De provinciale Landschappen beschermen meer dan 600 Nederlandse natuurgebieden. Naast het beheer van natuurterreinen is een ander aandachtsveld van de provinciale Landschappen het toegankelijk maken van deze gebieden. De twaalf provinciale Landschappen zijn verenigd in De Landschappen.

De Provinciale Landschappen werken samen met de provinciale overheden, en de provinciale Milieufederaties.

De ministeries van VROM en LNV steunen de kunststichting Hollands Landschap. Deze stichting heeft een website gelanceerd onder het motto 'Landschap in Beweging', waarmee de diversiteit aan Nederlandse landschappen via foto's, illustraties en gedichten aan bod komt. De site bevat onder meer een overzicht van landschappen per provincie.
